A swap is the interest rate difference between the two currencies of the pair you are trading, and it is calculated according to whether your position is long or short. A forex swap is a commission/fee charged by brokers for keeping your position open overnight.

What is a Swap-free account?

Swap free accounts or Islamic accounts are simply accounts with no swap or rollover interests on overnight positions, which are against the Islamic faith. These accounts are available only to Kawase clients who follow the Islamic faith.
